NMSBVI Alamogordo Campus & New Mexico Museum of Space History

Open to twenty 6th – 12th Grade Students with Visual Impairments
Join us along with our partner, the New Mexico Museum of Space History (NMMSH), for a fun-filled weekend focused on understanding eclipses and finding our way around the night sky.  During the weekend we will participate in eclipse and night sky events coordinated by NMSBVI, NMMSH, and the Alamogordo Astronomy Club held at the NMMSH.  Saturday morning will be spent experiencing and observing the Annular Solar Eclipse that will be visible in parts of the United States, Mexico, and many countries in South and Central America. We will also tour the museum to explore the history of space exploration. Event to be held on our Alamogordo Campus and at the NMMSH with food, lodging, and transportation provided as needed by NMSBVI.
